Selmer Mark VI SN 23xxxx Selmer Mark VI Original Lacquer
The French and British engraved Selmer Mark VI saxophones NEVER have a distinctive flower bud stretching around the side of the bell. They have more abstract designs on the bell, and they sometimes have a sparsely engraved flower above the Selmer stamp on the bell are a range of this my saxophone
This is not the prettiest but it certainly original finish.
This particular tenor is in excellent condition and still retains most of its lacquer 90% The engraving is extremely sharp.
The body seems good, never had any major trauma that I was able to identify.  Bell looks in nice shape too.

All older pads are used but in good  playing     condition,   pads, springs, keys, and all corks are in good shape, it needs nothing, the pads are seated fine, it blows with a nice sound from the low Bb right up to the high F.
 !!
Saxophon long time stored in cabinets  may be in need of control as needed by the new owner
The pads are not new but it plays pretty good at the moment, could definitely use adjustment, and maybe a pro setup if you choose.
This horn has a very strong and compact sound, slightly brighter and more focused than 5 digit tenors  .  This thing plays  good. Even across all registers and a nice effortless sound.    I'm also loving the naturally worn finish.
