NOTE: THIS IS NOT A MANUFACTURER'S GLOSSY PRINTED PATTERN, IT IS PRINTED ON 100GSM A4 PAPER AND WILL BE SENT FOLDED IN AN A5 ENVELOPE

The hat is knit in Aran yarn on needles slightly smaller than is usuallyused for the yarn. This gives a lovely dense texture and helps make the hatwarm to wear. It comes in 3 sizes, teenager, ladies or men’s but please measure the head before starting as head sizes vary. The finished hat is quite stretchy. It is shown here in Drops Big Merino, 100% wool which comes in 50gballs 75m length and machine washable to 40 degrees but any Aran yarn that knits to the correct tension can be used.
