This vintage BENRUS Automatic or Self-Winding award/presentation wristwatch is a 3 STAR model, 34mm across with the crown.  The crisp silver dial features raised gold numerals, 3 gold stars and gold Dauphine hands. As to a date, I would guess around 1960, give or take a few years. The 20 micron EP bezel shows some edge and lug edge wear , the SS back is fully signed. The owner worked for LIPTON [tea] for years and the watch has a jeweled 10K Gold Lipton badge mounted on the excellent band AND a matching tie-tack  also 10k gold. The watch has not been serviced and has been in long estate storage so no guarantees but as observed it runs well for long periods – it has stopped a few times and I credit that to storage and non-use for years.
