Pentacle Goddess by Abby Willowroot. One side contains pentacle and Celtic knotwork designs. The other side shows a steaming cauldron, triple moon, and triquetra. Above, the goddess embraces and guides the crescent moon and stars. Both images invite creativity and magical energy. 8 1/4" resin statue, white antique stone color finish.

In ancient times, the pentacle was seen as symbolizing the five elements of earth, air, fire, spirit, and water. The circle surrounding the five-pointed star symbolized these elements working in unity together. It represents balance and harmony.

The Spiral is an ancient symbol of evolution, one of the oldest pagan symbols in existence. It represents the cycle of the seasons and the cycles of Life, growth, and change. Although each loop of the spiral brings us back to the same place, it takes us to a higher and more evolved level at each turn. Because of its connection with the mother goddess, the spiral is a very feminine symbol, representing not only women but also a variety of things traditionally associated with women. Besides life-cycles, fertility, and childbirth, the spiral can reference intuition and other more internal concepts associated with women. The Spring Goddess represents the Divine Feminine and embodies the soft and gentle energies of renewal, awakening, rebirth, and fertility.

The Triple Moon Symbol is a popular pagan and Wiccan symbol used to represent the Goddess. It shows different portions of the lunar cycle, with the moon in three phases – waxing, full, and waning. First, there is a crescent moon that is in a growing/waxing phase. In the center comes a circle representing the full moon, and finally, there is a crescent denoting the diminishing/waning moon.

Spiritual and religious symbols contain meanings that delve into the deeper reality. The same goes for the Triple Moon Symbol, which is considered representative of all aspects of the divine feminine power – intuition or psychic insight; creative energy; and wisdom & mystery. It indicates the three life stages of a woman.

The waxing moon stands for the Maiden and symbolizes purity, youth, new life, beginnings, rejuvenation, excitement, enchantment, and expansion. The full moon represents the Mother and represents fulfillment, fertility, ripeness, potency, compassion, giving, caring, nurturing, protection and power. The waxing moon represents the Crone and stands for repose, maturity, wisdom, experience, knowledge, understanding, completion, death, and rebirth. In its entirety, the symbol is believed to signify the eternal cycle of birth, life, and rebirth.

Please note that crystals, minerals, and fossils are natural products and are creations of Mother Nature.
They have existed for many, many years, and weathered natural disasters and extreme conditions before they make their way to us. As with anything natural, fragile, and age-old, crystals may have nicks or chips, fractures, specks, or loose pieces (which is common with clusters). These should not be seen as imperfections, as they are the characteristics of these special items. Please view all the photos and feel free to ask questions.
