Lot of four vintage / antique round metal buttons -

A - silver tone metal Hessian soldier's button with bird, border lettering reads "es deus spes nostra" in Latin (God is our hope)
B - gold tone metal button cover with clasp & guard chain
C - possibly older silver & gold tone metal button with raised textured center
D - gold tone brass button with concentric circles - small unidentified mark on back

No maker marks.

A measures 11/16" across, B is 1", C is 15/16", D is 7/8".

Heavy wear as shown in photos.
