these are display filler altered coins, they are slightly altered from the original, they are for display collections when people have the real coin in a blister pack or royal mint pack, and dont want to devalue it by taking it out and putting with the rest in albums folders etc, generally the fronts are perfect but the backs have an alteration, some are also made silver plated to give a proof like finish..you can tell from the portrait side on some they are not the real original item, they are not legal tender coins, some have the word copy under the portrait.. they are in reality just splendid looking medals or tokens.
