What is Humic and Fulvic Acid?
Fascinatingly, humic acid is the by product of an 80 million-year-old geological process. Humification happens when the right combination of organic matter combines with certain geological conditions, such as pressure and temperature. Humates form as ancient seaweed, plants, vegetation, and fruit trees compress over time, leaving us with a mineral-rich humic acid shown to benefit human health drastically.
Humic & fulvic are chains of carbon molecules that contain trace minerals which are biologically available, (therefore improving the trace minerals upon uptake). Fulvic acid is extracted from humic acid.
It is almost scientifically impossible to tell the ratio % between them as humic will always contain fulvic, and an infinite amount of fulvic extractions from humic.

In 2002, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) published a report titled “Broad Spectrum Antiviral Effectiveness of Humates”. The NIH studied Humic Acid’s virus-fighting properties for viral diseases such as gastroenteritis, influenza, herpes, chickenpox, mononucleosis and haemorrhaging fevers caused by Ebola Hantaviruses.
Results showed that Humic Acid, when consumed before the virus invaded the body, effectively prevented disease. Tests performed against multiple virus types further confirmed Humic Acids broad anti-viral properties. Toxicity tests showed that Humic Acid bound itself to human cells but was not itself toxic, nor did it inhibit or interfere with cell development or reproduction.

Q: What percent of humic vs fulvic is in FHC?
FHC is a combined chain of Phenolic acids made of trace minerals. As fulvic acid is extracted from humic acid which has an infinite amount of fulvic extractions, the extracted solution is referred to as humic fulvic concentrate.
6 drops of FHC gives you 1.8ml of humic fulvic content.
There is a very expensive & difficult lab test that can tell the difference between them as they are basically the same molecules, we have not performed this as Food Standards Australia allow the combination up to 100mg powder.

Q: Why is your percentage of fulvic so low?
This is the safe amount. We use Lamar’s Standardized testing method (the only approved method for AAPFCO, AOAC International, and the IHSS) whereas other testing methods can confuse the polyphenolic acids with plant tannins within the fulvic & humic solution giving a falsified (or higher than actual) result. This is a common practice within in the wellness industry. One such practice includes adding coffee to a solution to throw the test.
