Pattern/instructions to make vintage 1940s, WW2 turbans and scarf.  Two knitted turban styles and one crochet style to make a scarf which can be used as a turban. Ideal for vintage rallies and re-enactment events.

Materials required: 3 ounces of 2 ply yarn for the moss stitch knitted turban. 2 ounces of 3 ply yarn for the plain knit turban. 1 ounce of 2 ply yarn for crocheted scarf or turban.  Pair of No 10 (3.25 mm) knitting needles. No 7 (4.50 mm) crochet hook.

Due to the age of the pattern, the original yarn suggested may not be available. I would recommend knitting/crocheting a tension square with your chosen yarn, before starting, to ensure the finished item is the size you require.
