Stainless Steel Sill Protectors for a

VW Golf Cabriolet / Convertible
(Released 2010)

Without these Sill Protectors your sill paintwork is being kicked & scratched!

Made from Polished Stainless Steel & Engraved as shown in photo above.

These will not fit the hard top models.

Tailor Made: Manufactured to fit the Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet convertible. For the model released in 2010, often known as the Mk6 as shown in the above image. (Note: the hard top Golf released in 2013 is a Mk7, but VW have not changed the convertible model as yet, so it is still a Mk6.)

Important Note: Many sill plates on the market are simply flat plates that are only a cosmetic trim but have limited practical value because they don't protect the paintwork on the corner of the sill. The paintwork that receives the most kicks & scrapes is the corner radius of the cars sill...a flat plate will not protect this. Our Sill Protectors have a corner radius which curves to a downward leg, protecting not only the paintwork on the upper surface but the most vulnerable paintwork...on the corner.

Important Note: Made from 1mm thick Stainless Steel (many sill plates on the market are made from much thinner steel, or aluminium, which is easily dented & twisted).

Number of Sill Protectors: There are 2 plates in the set. The 2 plates are 850mm long and 55mm wide.

They have a polished finish: Please Note - Any dark areas that may be seen on the surface of the sill plates in the photographs are just dark reflections in the area where the photograph was taken.

Engraving: The engraving is shown in the image above. It is etched into the stainless steel. It will not wear off.

Fitting: They come with Automotive adhesive tape on the rear of the plates. Fitting instructions supplied.

Benefits: If your door sills are not protected, sooner or later they will get kicked, scratched & scuffed by you or your passengers. Once fitted, these kick plates will provide protection for the life of your car, if you keep it or sell it.

SHIPPING

All items are shipped Monday through to Friday within 48Hrs (usually within 24 Hrs) of payment clearing. No items are sent after Noon on Friday.

Most items will be sent using Royal Mail 48Hr Tracked to UK addresses or INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR Airmail for overseas. Large/heavy items may be sent via other courier.

Orders will be sent to the address stated on the eBay order unless otherwise requested.

We will try our best to make this transaction as smooth as possible, however please note the following

We have no control over Royal Mail delivery timescales. We can only control the time taken from your payment having cleared to the time your package is put into the postal system. If your package arrives next day then Royal Mail deserve the credit for delivering it quickly, if it takes longer than Royal Mail target times, then Royal Mail deserve the criticism for the long delivery times
Royal Mail will not class a parcel as lost until 15 days have passed from posting date
If your item is not delivered in 15 working days contact us and we will check with Royal Mail for you. Please ensure that you have contacted your local sorting/delivery office to check if it is there before contacting us
Be sure to provide an address where someone is available to sign

RETURNS

We make sure that we describe our products accurately. If for some reason you are not happy with your item, you may return it within 30 days. Providing the product is in a re-saleable condition we will refund the full cost of the item. The return postage is your responsibility

Returns must be made through the eBay returns system as we do not provide return labels

(Note: if for some reason you return Sill Protectors / Plates, please make sure that they are packed in such a way that none of the faces are touching each other and get scratched, (if scratched we will not be able to re-sell them).
