We have a few of these costumes for sale in different sizes (see link to other size listings below, assuming they are in stock at the time you are reading this). Some of the headpieces may come "bent" or slightly misshapen ( this is RARE, but could happen ). They are made of a thin plastic material and bend in at the sides. Because they get worn on the top of the head & are attached with hook & loop fasteners to the hood, they may look fine on, & they should also be able to be formed/bent back to their original shape using some heat - a blow dryer or heat gun on the lowest setting (this is what the manufacturer recommends).
This will be shipped in a rigid cardboard box to prevent any damage.
