Hi there,
I'm selling a rather lost old book.
This is a copy of Wraxton Marne, by Rene Ray, it's a first edition, from 1946.
This was her first novel, but i can tell you little about it, as i've not read it and can find no reviews sadly.
It describes itself as "the story of a ghostly ruin and of the family to whom it once belonged, as told by the old bailiff..."
Upon first view, it's in poor condition, but this is just the dust cover.
The book itself is very good beneath, with only slight marking and foxing.
The dustcover has taken the damage though, it is very tired.
It is inscribed on the inside cover.
Please see the photos and feel free to ask any questions.
The author was a very interesting woman.
Born Irene Cresse in London in 1911
She had been an actress and she went on to write science fiction, not a common subject for a woman.
I'm hoping someone feels the need to own this lost copy of a great book...

Thanks for looking and i'm always open to reasonable offers.
