Bizen-yaki（Bizen ware）？
Bizen-yaki is made by molding each piece of high quality ceramic clay, drying it and then baking it without painting or glaze. It is a pottery that shows the earthy taste well.
The landscape of the ceramist is rich with variations such as sesame seeds, yamagiri, scarlet tasuki, and botamochi, but these are Bizen-yaki (Bizen ware) with their hard stoneware, which is baked slowly for seven to ten days and nights with the power of a thousand and several hundred degrees of fire, as well as the way they are stuffed and the burning of pine wood, which is the fuel.
On the other hand, it can be said that there is no one with the same shape and taste.

ZENJI URAKAMI was born in Bizen in 1914. 
He studied under Shunko NISHIMURA, a maker of Bizen ware, and Seibo KITAMURA, a sculptor.
He was a leading authority on sculpture of Bizen ware. Intangible cultural property of Okayama Prefecture.

This figurine is made with an atmosphere, and it has a good atmosphere with plenty of crosscuts and yellow and dark brown sesame seeds on the well-baked skin. 
There is a natural burn on the box.
