first generation
It all started in the village of Sahnin in the Galilee in 1930, where the father, Iskandar Matar, worked in cleaning copper products that required cleaning from time to time in order to make them suitable for preparing food.
At that time the cookware industry switched to aluminum and thus the occupation of antiseptic copper gradually disappeared. As a result, they moved to producing and selling copper products in their village and nearby villages in 1954.
second generation
They, the sons of the family, developed this enterprise and began to produce coffee pots, trays, lamps and other copper products. Their business started to boom, especially with the export of our first copper products abroad.
In 1970 the family moved to Nazareth due to the lack of electricity in Sakhnin and because Nazareth was the main commercial and tourist center in the area at that time.
third generation
In 1978, the descendants of Iskandar Matar joined the family business, continuing his legacy. Eventually, their products got into the hands of important world leaders and other prominent Arab and foreign personalities.
today
Their business is still fully operational and developing. Today they are making new products like gifts that suit the discerning requirements of customers.
