A very decorative antique Italian Florentine giltwood carved wall bracket shelf. The delicately hand carved wood and gilt bracket with flourishes of acanthus leaves and an attractive gold gilt finish. Late 19th century.

Overall height 22.7cm, maximum width 20.2cm, maximum depth 12.2cm.

In overall good condition with no chips or losses to the design. Some wear to the gilt surface as expected with age, the shelf top has more wear where an object has been placed (please see photographs). A good decorative object which displays well.
