An attractive antique Chinese hand embroidered silk on silk picture depicting vases of flowers surrounded by foliage and bats. The piece of art finely crafted with attractive blue and green tones threads, highlighted with gold on a green silk ground. The picture c.1860-1880, Qing period. Presented in a period gilt glazed frame.

The frame 22.5cm x 24.5cm. The silk picture approximately 14cm x 15.5cm.

The silk picture in good condition with the silks neat and vibrant. The frame has some signs of age with losses to areas of the gilt gesso, scratches and marks, however is solid and decorative and ready to hang. New suspension string to reverse is stable.
