The Montegrappa Privilege Gioiello Wave Silver Fountain Pen Limited Edition is engraved with whorls as would decorate majestic tail-feathers and employs a "deep drawing" technique to produce barrels and caps without any joints, precious metals in disc form are lengthened, hollowed and shaped to achieve the desired form. The Montegrappa Privilege Gioiello wave Silver Fountain Pen has the distinction of being one of the only pens crafted by this technique in sterling silver.

Originally inspired by a model from the 1930's that was part of Montegrappa's museum collection, the revamped version of the Privilege Gioiello wave Silver Fountain Pen heralds new engraving techniques and has been enhanced by sterling silver and decorated with new motifs produced by special techniques featuring hand-etched patterns. This technique has never been used on pens before and only two-to-three pens may be produced each day by Montegrappa's select skilled craftsmen.

The fountain pen’s 18k gold nib is inscribed with the Montegrappa filigree pattern and is available in fine writing grade.

Fountain pen fills with Monteverde standard international ink cartridge or ink converter.
