The Uberbike 30mm Straight Pull Enduro / All Mountain MTB 27.5" Boost Wheelset has been designed for riders seeking greater performance and confidence on demanding terrain. We have paired our straight pull hubs with Sapim CX-Ray spokes, which are almost as light as titanium, with extremely high fatigue test results, making them robust enough for even Downhill use, and are considered the best aerodynamic eliptic spoke available. Using our 30mm internal profile rim, with our newly developed hubs featuring our 6 pawl freehubs bodies for faster and precise engagement, in addition, we've added an extra double lipped seal on the non drive side rear hub which offers even greater bearing protection against the elements, plus our specially developed custom assembly oil which is used for the dynamic waterproof protection of the hubs internals. The front hub featuring our custom offset end caps to allow maximum fork clearance when using floating disc brake rotor designs, and both front and rear hubs have upgrade carbon chromium bearing steel for increased rolling fatigue resistance and wear resistance in use.
Each wheelset comes pre-installed with our Uberbike Race Matrix tubeless rim tape, and is supplied with a pair of Uberbike Airtech tubeless valves, with 8 colour options for you to choose from.
All of our wheelsets go through 2 seperate processes where they are hand checked at each stage to ensure we bring you the best possible level of quality.
The 6 pawl freehub uses 120 points of engagement and features a 2 step design where 3 pawls engage at the same time, and the second group of pawls only have 1.53 degrees to engage, resulting in 2 x the engagement speed of a 60T hub.
