A quality Edwardian stool in the Georgian style made in mahogany by cabinet makers "Thomas Clarkson &Sons Furnishers Snow Hill Wolverhampton"- makers badge is on the base. Stool has a drop in seat (so easy to recover if needed)  Covering on the  seat is original and is in a dark and light green brocade type fabric with some fading- a mark in one corner(which i have not attempted to get out so may clean)- see photo 9. The stool frame has rounded corners and stands on 4 classic carved and reeded legs with decorative floral motifs to the tops. Stool has plain cross stretchers to the sides and a central single stretcher. This is a top quality item, very stylish, lovely colour and patina to the mahogany and in good sturdy condition.
