The XBA-100 earphones feature a symmetric armature and direct drive structure that further improves the linearity of the mechanical vibration system. The diaphragm is driven faithfully to the input signal to achieve highly transparent mid and high frequencies.
A T-type symmetric armature was developed to enhance the linearity of the armature, the heart of the balanced armature. By enhancing the vertical symmetry of vibration, waveform reproducibility has been improved to the utmost limit.
A diaphragm-integrated connecting rod is used to transmit the armature vibration to the diaphragm without loss. The direct connection between the armature and diaphragm drives the diaphragm faithfully to the input signal.
The housing is made of brass, which is also used for brass wind instruments such as trumpets and trombones. This material suppresses unwanted vibrations and delivers a smooth response in the low frequency range and brilliant, bright mid and high frequencies. Brass is also used for the sound conduit, which is the key to the sound. By expanding the inner diameter while maintaining the strength of the sound conduit, a clear high frequency range with a good sound extraction is realized.
Silver-plated OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) core wire is used. This reduces signal transmission loss and sound degradation, resulting in smooth reproduction of high frequencies.
The four-core configuration improves left-right separation and reduces crosstalk. Enjoy a wider range of sound and tighter bass.
Fine grooves on the cable surface reduce friction, which is a cause of cable tangling. Comfortable for listening and carrying.
