Fèves are hand painted, porcelain or ceramic figurines. They are made to be put inside an Epiphany Cake, or King Cake for the "Epiphany" Holiday.  Traditionally, a bean was baked in the cake, the person who finds the bean in his or her slice, is king for the day. In more modern times, the bean has been replaced by a ceramic or porcelain figure.  The fèves are relatively small at 1 1/4" or less in size.

Very unusual nursery figures.  Snow White, One of the Three Pigs, Red Riding Hood, Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan The Little Mermaid, The Little Prince, Puss n' Boots and many more.   All 15 seen are included.  These are so detailed, it's amazing.  Notice the size compared to the penny.   Gloss finish.  As these are hand tooled and painted, there maybe some variations and rough spots, but that is how these are meant to be.   No chips or cracks.
