DESCRIPTION:
▬ All four spigots are the same ▬
- Made by Justrite - Industrial Manufacturers
- Model 8-910S (embossed in the castings)
- Lever action: pretty strong spring to overcome, which pushes the stopper UPSTREAM into the barrel. When released the spring + pressure of liquid within the barrel makes for a secure tight seal.
- Note the casting has a hole just under the lever into which a LOCK can be inserted to prevent unauthorized use.
- 6" x 4" x 2" Overall.
- Typically mounted into the side bung of a barrel, so the spout faces about 15° away from down.
- Note the spigot interior has a SCREEN.
- Note the spigot interior is THREADED for connection to other equipment. This female thread is not a standard garden hose thread, or any NPT. It appears to be a fine 20mm (13/16") machine thread. Possible purpose = a plug.
- Mounting thread appears to be a 1" male pipe thread.
- Weight about 1.4 pounds each - Total weight about 5.6 pounds
- Shipping weight will be about 7.5 pounds
CONDITION: ALL FOUR: READY FOR WORK
No flaws, springs all tight, each has an "O" ring in the closure stem which seems fine.
Slight surface discoloration in places has no effect on function.
If you are concerned about appearance, use steel wool.
