You get the exact one shown here: #cc-1014-S21 10-30-2022 JAPAN LAW QUARTZ CRYSTAL FROM  ANDILAMENA DISTRICT, MADAGASCAR.    Please see all 12 photos (be sure to scroll to see all of them) and video. The video shows the crystal shape better.

This is a QUARTZ CRYSTAL that is in a standard 1 1/4" perky box.

This is from the collection of a discriminating Middle-Georgia collector with an eye for aesthetics and quality. These choice specimens now bear Dixie Euhedrals labels. This particular specimen was purchased 21 years ago.

JAPAN LAW TWIN QUARTZ CRYSTAL WITH WHITE FIBER INCLUSIONS FROM ANDILAMENA DISTRICT, MADAGASCAR.
Be sure to check out the video. Sometimes the video is not immediately viewable when the crystal is first listed, but it usually is visible within 24 hours of listing. If the video isn't visible please check back as the video is worth thousands of pictures.

THIS WAS ACQUIRED IN 2001 FROM  THE ROCKSMITHS of TOMBSTONE, ARIZONA. The price for this in 2001 was $40 which was a lot for the time period and likely due to the size and high quality of the specimen.  Due to it's initial high price I am not marking this one up in proportion to what it probably should be.
Approximate size of crystal specimen: 1/4" wide  X 3/16" deep  X 7/8" tall or in metric: 3.2 X 0.5 X 2.2 CM. The metric dimensions are more precise.
The outer surface has a sparkling surface similar in some respect to having a crystal druse on the surface. This apparent effect is due to countless fine fiber inclusions as well as some fibers on the outside. This fiber could be byssolite but it could be other things and I'm really not certain.   In some places (the inner edge of the faces that make the V and near the tip) these fibers are much larger.  If you look at this with a loupe you'll see that there are hundreds and possibly thousands of these unidentified crystal fibers.

This was photographed outdoors in bright sunlight and at times it was photographed in shade.   The video shows it in the sunlight as well as in a shaded area and the video is better than the photos so do check it out.  The crystal looks much better in the video once I reach a shaded area so be sure to watch the entire minute-long video.

I have other Japan Law Twin quartz crystals listed and will be listing many more very soon. Be sure to check out my other items and do check back to see what is newly added.

Do you like perky box mounted specimens??  I have 100's of different specimens for sale and many 100's waiting to be listed. Be sure to check my other items and check back often to see what all is new!

This is shown with enlarged images so please note:

This is shown with large high-resolution images. The photos show the specimen as if you were examining it with a magnifying glass. Every good detail, and every bad detail, is shown in a blaze of glory or shame as the case may be.

Having said that, since the photos are highly enlarged you may see features or blemishes that will not be detectable or will not be as prominent to the naked eye.

Please note the size and be advised that the images appear larger than life on your screen.

To be clear: this is shown with extreme magnification. To put it another way, (as if that wasn't clear enough?) these are large pictures of a small crystal.

This specimen is priced commensurate with its rarity, locality and quality.  I can't take less for it so please don't ask.  I do have minerals for every budget so be sure to check out my other items.

B.O.L.O ALERT - Be On the Look Out: I have lots of other brookite crystals for sale. I have some currently listed and I'm in the process of listing more - check back if brookite crystals are your thing. I've recently acquired in excess of 1200 perky box specimens which have been carefully curated over a span of 42 years.  The quality ranges from high to extremely high. Despite the sensory overload that oft accompanies high quality minerals, some will be quite affordable.  The easiest way to see them is to visit my store and click the store category "PERKY BOXES".  You will probably want to add me as a favorite seller and tick the box to receive a weekly view of recently added minerals.  I took some time off from listing but I'm back at it for a while and will probably be adding more specimens.

So do check back and add me as a favorite and subscribe to my newsletter.  Don't worry, you won't get weekly or even monthly emails from me as I only sporadically send them out a few times a year.
