Pahroc manufactures this perlite in Nevada. It continues as a family operation that began in 1958. They take pride in their products and plan on leading perlite field for generations. Their goal is to make the cleanest, most uniform perlite product in the world. They don't want to deliver a "bag of dust". It's a small family operation that has less than 15 employees. This perlite is really outstanding and shows pride of ownership. It's the one we used in our own growing operations.

an airy, loamy soil.
Perlite
comes in different size, for different applications. Bog type plants
(venus fly traps, butterworts, ect.) need a smaller particle size.
Succulents and cactus do well with the coarse #3 size. The larger chunky size
(this one) is perfect for plants needing faster drainage, more air, and larger
pots.

Mix 30% - 50% with peat moss, or compost, or special
soil.

100% perlite or mix with organic substrate
