BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE MCM Handmade Green Velvet Jeweled Musical Instrument Christmas Tree READ.

Styrofoam bade covered in 1960s-1970s green velvet. All edges are adorned with metallic gold braided trim and Faux Pearls.

Sides are adorned with snowflakes and gold color plastic Musical ornaments including banjo.  saxophone, drum, violin, guitars, horn, and French Horn.

Base and Tree are in 2 separate pieces..please see photos. 

Handmade and super unique. This took alot of work to put each pearl in with a push pin.

Metal goldtone snowflakes attached randomly on sides with pearl and push pin

OOAK and rare.

Approx 16" Tall including base x 5" Wide at bottom of base. Bottom of Tree = 4 1/2" Wide.

This has been well loved and used.

Overall it's gorgeous; however there is some damage:

1) Guitar and banjo instruments are broken. Guitar does not have the broken pieces included. Banjo (on same side with the saxophone) has broken off but can be reglued.  I'm going to let you do it so it's done how you like it and that it doesn't re-brake in shipping. 

* 2 sides have undamaged instruments. 2 side have damaged instruments. 

2) It seems there was a tree topper at one time which is now missing. Tree has a toothpick sticking out of top. Maybe you have a topped or star you could attach. more even a gold ribbon bow would be gorgeous!

3) Bottoms of both pieces have black marker marks where it looks like something was scratches out.

This is really a special piece despite its damage.
