Antique Hand Crocheted Twin (Single) Bedspread Early 1900s 72 x 42 Golden Wheat Color
This bedspread was handed down to my friend from her aunt, an accomplished seamstress and needleworker, who made it for her hope chest. She never married so it sat in that chest until it was gifted to my friend in the early 1950s. I have my friend's word that this was done by hand even though I can't imagine anyone making something as spectacular as this. (And she made two!)
