In the publisher's original red binding, with gilt detailing to the boards. Magnier binding type c2, variant 3 v, Jauzac 87. With the initials JV to the upper medallion and JH to the lower medallion.

A generally bright and clean copy.

'Around the World in Eighty Days' is a noted adventure novel which was first published in 1872. It follows Londoner Phileas Fogg and his French valet, Passepartout, and their attempt to circumnavigate the world in eighty days.

An early edition of this greatly acclaimed work.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Fading to the gilt at the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spots to pages.
