Here is a rare and handsome art pottery oil lamp with frosted glass ball shade in original condition, never electrified. Retains Climax burner and wick with intact, undrilled brass oil font. Handsome pottery base completely hand painted with raised decoration , and bronze mounts. Base with artists monogram “DG” underneath. With age associated wear/tarnish to bronze surfaces, and craquelure to glazing , as pictured. Measures 24” tall. The top globe is completely original , with modern brass top ring, with etched and frosted surface. Floral arrangements artistically arranged around base. A stunningly beautiful lamp from a bygone age.
