Swatch Originals Vintage Standard Gent 'Sparkling Day' - GE158 on YGS115H Irony Big Band 'Iron Arrow'

This pre-owned vintage 2004 Swatch was part of the Spring Summer 2005 Collection. Unfortunately, it is no longer on its original bracelet, but it has been attached to a pre-owned Swatch Irony Big one - AYGS115H (2001).

The watch has had a battery fitted and it is working well. It has been stored with care in excess of eight years, but it has not been tested to see how it withstands immersion in water and therefore, it should only be considered as 'splash proof'.

A clear  round 34mm case frames a highly mirrored dial. There are no numerals on the face, but a light blue crystal is set at the 12 o'clock position.  Around the circumference small marks indicate the minutes of the hour.

Polished gold minute/hour/second hands show the time. The tips of the minute/hour hands have small circular cut outs and fancy points.

The brushed solid stainless steel Irony Big band is hinged both sides to allow it to be put on the wrist. The band has black inserts, leading to points on the second hinged portions each side of the band.

Taking a photograph of the face was extremely difficult as it reflected the surrounding areas,  so I have shown a stock photo of the watch with its original bracelet.

There is a mark on the crystal.

New replacement batteries are available free of charge under Swatch's 'Energy for Life' campaign  from any Swatch shop, or from their Customer Service team.
