1880's matched pair of kerosene oil 10" cased glass dome shades for a student lamp, or for Rayo or Rochester central draft lamps. Extremely rare color cased student shades in light apple green cased with snow white. Please reference Dr. Miller's 'Student Lamps of the Victorian Era' for similar examples. Manufactured for use on American student lamps, Rayo & Rochester-type lamps, lovely lightweight period shades. Excellent matched pair in undamaged crisp condition, standard 10" fitters, approximately 6" tall, classic dome form with donut ring at the neck.
