One Valvo (/Philips) E80CC (/6085) tube with D-Getter. Tube code is VB7 ∆0H5  = tube was manufactured 1960 in the Philips plant in Heerlen / Holland. Used but tested new. Rare transition version with one of the last D-Getters made before the ring getter came into production. Tube has "Gabl" Military Label.

1.) Emission, tested with calibrated Neuberger RPM 370/1 tube tester and calibrated Fluke multimeters:

Ua = 250V, Ug1 = -5,5V


System 1 = 6,1 mA (6 mA = new) = 102%

System 2 = 6,1 mA (6 mA = new) = 102%

Heater to cathode short test system 1 = OK, 0 mA

Heater to cathode short test system 2 = OK, 0 mA

Short test all tube electrodes system 1 = OK

Short test all tube electrodes system 2 = OK

Vacuum test system 1 & 2 = OK


Notification: I am testing emission with the specs listed in the original tube data sheets for a new tube, which guarantees real and comparable test values. 


2.) Tube strength / mutual transconductance, tested with calibrated U. S. army TV-7A/U tube tester:

System 1 = 2.900 micromhos (meter reading = 58 @ range C).

System 2 = 2.600 micromhos (meter reading = 52 @ range C).

Minimum reading for good for E80CC / 6085 tube on TV-7A/U is 1.600 micromhos (meter reading = 32 @ range C)

All electrode short test ok (both systems)

Vacuum & gas test ok (both systems)
