Here's a very Nice and Rare Olympus-35 SP Compact 35mm Film Camera--- I think it's from the 1970's or thereabouts.   A rarer All-Black version that comes with it's original Strap, Case and Instruction Book.

It's in Beautiful Condition with three small issues that don't detract from it too badly.  1) on the exterior,  there are a few assorted tiny nicks and slight blemishes here and there, and another 1/2 inch area at the back, upper left corner--- where the paint has a group of pits and nicks--- it might be a manufacturing defect because it doesn't look like it was damaged.  2) It can use new light seal foam inside the film door--- some of it getting a little gooey from age.  3) The light meter doesn't work, and thus the Automatic Exposure can't--- I put in a fresh battery and I got no response.  Maybe it's from sitting so long and it's just stuck.  There's a tiny bit of corrosion in the battery compartment so maybe that's it... I don't know---- but the camera operates on manual just fine without it.   The shutter speed and f-stop can be set manually--- so with a hand-held meter or a basic exposure guess, shooting is no problem.   AND the shutter fires well at different speeds up and down the scale--- they look and "sound" good all the way down to 1 second. The self-timer works and aperture works perfectly and looks good--- nice and clean.  The rangefinder focus is distinct and the viewfinder is bright and crystal clear.   And the lens glass is Gorgeous--- brilliant coatings and about as clear as can be expected.

So that's about all I can tell you--- I have not tested it with film and I'm not too familiar with all the mechanisms of this camera, but it still operates mostly and with a little TLC, maybe even better.    The case is in Very Good condition--- a few scuffs and a little wear and tear. The strap is very stiff from age--- it is included but I would recommend getting a nicer, softer one.  It also includes the original instruction booklet and lens cap as well.   It's Not 100% Mint, but for a 45+ year old "survivor" it's in pretty sweet Condition--- a Collector Piece that mostly Works!   What you see is what you'll get--- please examine the photos.

Continental US Shipping will be $11.50.  It will be packed well and safe.  International Shipping via the ebay program.

PLEASE READ THIS--- By Bidding you Agree with this:   I am not Amazon or a professional Camera Store seller--- just an old camera collector/shooter selling some Used items.  I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you.    But that said... I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either.  So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval--- it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Buyer's Remorse, No Returns... especially with the noted flaws.   I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken.  But I can't "Bench Test" everything to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it's a 40+ year old item!  Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful. but I can't describe every every millimeter of it.   As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... but they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.   If it's junk or even "C" Grade... I won't sell it!    What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
