Men's Original 1930's Vintage Hunting Jacket. This brown cotton duck fabric coat has all the telltale signs identifying a hunting coat of this period: SEWN fabric (as opposed to elastic) shell loops, large bag pockets, pleated chest pocket with grommet, simple buttoned interior game pocket, narrow front facings, size tag, vented armpits and overall simple design and, of course style & material. Collar and cuffs are faced with fawn brown corduroy. Leather hanging loop at collar and printed fabric label with "Style No., 685" and "Size 44". This simple style of jacket was sold through catalogs, hardware and sporting goods stores.
