This strand is a very pretty shade of red with copper streaks at various places on each bead.  The beads are rectangle with slightly rounded edges and also with indentations on two sides.  This makes a very showy bead.  Sizes and red color of beads are consistent but each bead is different with the decorative copper sparkles.  There are 18 beads on this strand.

My vintage beads were purchased mostly from a vendor in Tucson who was selling his grandmother's collection.  I am not an expert of vintage beads so have no information of materials or techniques used.  I picked them out because they were sometimes very pretty and sometimes whimsical and different.
