Signed R. Hockner, 1902, this lovely little scenic oil on card is framed in a beautiful antique walnut frame with hand blown glass (can see the evidence of handblown, with imperfections in the glass). The scene depicts a clearing with a hut in the background and a lily pond. It is in excellent condition. 

R. Hockner is a listed artist whose similar paintings have fetched over $1,000. The early 19th c. frame, although not the original frame, is valuable in its own right.

The sight size of the painting is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". The overall frame size is 9" x 8".

I would have it reset in the frame by a professional, so that the back looks neater.
