Beautiful Vintage Y2K Monsoon jacket in a silk & viscose blend devoré velvet on a chiffon base.

There are two tiers of ruffles running round the neck and down the front, which fastens with little loops and buttons, and the sleeves are trimmed with a double ruffle at the cuff.

The chiffon base fabric is black, with a dark burgundy velvet leafy pattern, and a lighter burgundy print outline to the velvet.

The size label has been cut out, but I would put it as a UK 12 to 14, please check the measurements below to be sure it will fit you.

Measurements taken from seam to seam with the garment laid flat;

Bust 20" / 50cm

Waist 17 1/2" / 44.5cm

Shoulders 17" 43cm

Length, centre back 19" / 48cm

Sleeve length (from shoulder, including the frill at cuff) 21" / 53cm

Note the sleeves have been professionally shortened, which I think makes it more wearable as they are now 3/4 length (when they're too long  the ruffles get caught on & in everything!)
