Stunning slip dress from the finale of Marc Jacobs's Fall 2014 Runway presentation. This collection was Jacobs's first outing after he left his post as Creative Director of Lou*s Vu*tton, and VOGUE noted in its review that the collection "[crescendoed] with hand-painted organza ruffles on... [dresses]".

The silk organza on this dress starts out with sheets of tan that are fade to black near the ends and the bottom panels quietly progress to a purple with the same black ombre effect on the edges. All of the panels have raw edges, so there is a roughness to the edges. 

The dress is semi-sheer, and there is a tan slip that's sewn into the dress. It can easily be removed and the dress may be worn completely see-through as styled on the runway, or you can wear a black slip of your own underneath. 

There are some very light spots on the exterior tulle material. I've photographed the most prevalent ones. There are some pulls to the interior slip dress, and there is a small hole on the inside slip near the one of the breasts.
