These Echo Ring Clips are laser-cut from 5mm acrylic and laser-engraved on the back side to reduce parallax errors.
Picture shown is with "red" marking line and inch. However the product is engraved/etched by laser without colour. We recommend you to use water-based marking pen preferably in "red" or "pink" colour to colour the etched markings lines for better visibility.
Since the opening is cut slightly smaller than 1/2" to ensure the ring will not fall off, so if you find it difficult to push the ruler foot into the hole just use awl to open up a little bit wider as shown in the picture.
Use it on all ruler feet that has a 1/2" (12.7mm) outside diameter to do the echo size you need. The sizes denote the distance from the needle to the edge. Usually all ruler feet for both domestic sewing machines and all longarm or mid-arm quilting machines like Handi Quilter, Bernina, Innova, Nolting, Martelli, Juki, Janome, Q'nique, Babylock etc. etc. have 1/2" (12.7mm) outside diameter so just clip the echo ring onto the ruler foot.
When using the edge of the ruler foot, there is a 1/4” distance from the needle to the edge of the foot. The Echo Ring Clip provide a 3/8” interval, 1/2” interval, 5/8" inverval, 3/4” interval, 7/8" internval and a 1" interval.
These echo feet are very helpful when quilting piano keys on a border and when creating channel quilting. Easily echo different distances around a single circle ruler template. Or create grids and cross-hatching with different widths.
