**The waist size range is about 30-40 inches. I wore it at the last 3 inches of the hook and loop for a size 36 waist with a relatively loose fit. There's also elastic between the hook and loop and the actual holster on both ends. It fits the P938 pretty snug. You can wear a belt over it, but it does not require one.

I put a small strip of hook and loop to cover the rough part, but it can be removed. These holsters are custom depending on your waist size and gun model. It may not fit everyone.
