Here is my trusted ten year old mac! So what happened, basically: after a PRAM reset it stopped booting. My theory is that either something got burned or permanently compromised or... it is because of the display card. I had already disabled the GPU manually, yet the upgrade to the latest Ventura minor might have reset that, with the system refusing to proceed with the video card otherwise. Maybe.

The hard drive was removed. I think I've copied the serial right, yet if you are interested in the piece, let me know and I'll double check it for you. I am not sure about the resolution in inches, but it's pretty big, and since the GPU died and I couldn't attach any external monitor it was comfy enough to work long hours.

Suggested use: body parts or... try to breath new life into it. This machine does support the latest Ventura, since I could successfully update from Catalina to Ventura thanks to the OpenCore project; it's just that, for some reason, the latest Ventura dropped support for the Intel video chipset this mac has, resulting in its own internal display not to be recognized and therefore forced to a very high default res. Hence my PRAM attempt, resulting in a fatal failure etc.

Everything else, except the hard drive (not included) and the video card (GPU compo died a long time ago) works; about a year ago I invested like 300 EUR in fixing the backlid power - the apple is still glowing. Also, the battery lasts almost two hours.

Charger not included!

For any question, even if I'm not a hardware guy, I'll try to answer :)
