Original red cloth binding with gilt spine. 2nd edition from the 4th revised and enlarged French edition translated by Louis T. de M. Sajous, with 908 text engravings and several full color plates.

Condition: GOOD. Minimal wear to covers and all pages and plates present. Binding becoming slightly loose on both volumes, but is holding solid.

Provenance: Both volumes with bookplate of Menorah Hospital Medical Library with dedication signature of Dr. Paul Moss and blind stamp of Menorah Hospital Medical Library, Kansas City, Missouri.
