The game can be played not only in handheld mode with the Joy-Con in the console, but also with the Joy-Con removed, as it fully supports touchscreen operation. This enhances portability. Furthermore, when in table mode or TV mode, the right Joy-Con (R) can also be used to control the game, making one-handed play possible. The game is also fully compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite.
