Purchased 10 years ago from an older Doctor that commissioned this piece back in the 1940's. Carpentry skills are second to none. Old fashioned workmanship. Tongue and groove joinery.

The leather insert has aged with this desk being used daily. I believe the leather gives the piece a nostalgic feel of days gone by.
