To celebrate Giuseppe Verdis bicentenary in 2013, C Major is proud to present the truly unique project, TUTTO VERDI: All 26 operas released on DVD and Blu-ray, together with his immortal Requiem and special documentary.

Nabucco was Verdis third work for the stage and proved his first great success when performed in 1842. It deals with the Hebrews attempts to break free from the yoke of their Babylonian oppressors and is nowadays numbered among Verdis most popular works, not least on account of its famous Chorus of Hebrew Slaves, which has one of the best-loved melodies in the whole history of opera.

At the centre of this production is the Nabucco of Leo Nucci… Fast approaching 70, Nucci's baritone is still in remarkably good condition… The other interesting casting here is Dimitra Theodossiou as Abigaille… There is a wildness about her singing which is in keeping with her character… This performance gets an ecstatic response from the audience, and rightly so. --Mark Pullinger, International Record Review
