An alternative digital solution for loading those troublesome tapes whilst
still retaining the retro sounds and experience. The digital Arduitape device
is the same size as a traditional cassette tape.

then please contact me after purchase. The PCB requires larger buttons fitted
for the case holes so leave a message stating this is for a case.

Requires a Full Size SD-Card or Micro-SD to SD Card Adpater.
Can be powered from a USB 5V power bank or adapter (Mini-USB).
Also supports power from an external 5V source through the JST connector.

Firmware update is possible via the ICSP plug but is not advised for this board.

The buttons may require re-mapping as the firmware is custom to the ATMega328P IC.

ZX Spectrum TZX TAP
ZX80/81 Z80 (P and O Format)
Amstrad CDT TZX
Toshiba MSX TSX TAP (CAS EXPERIMENTAL)
Acorn UEF (The UEF Tape images will require g-unzipping to raw format)

Instructions on use
Use FAT16/32 Formatted SD-Card or Micro-SD to SD card adapter.
Only upto 8GB Standard Cards are supported. HX/HS cards not supported.
Organize tape files into alphabetic folders for quicker access.
Connect a 3.5mm Mono audio jack into back of device and computer.
Connect a 2.5mm Jack Cable for computers with tape remote control cable.
Power device with a Mini-USB cable from a 5V power source.

Control Buttons:
ROOT - Returns to root of disk.
UP/DOWN - Select next/previous folder/file.
PLAY - Select Folder/File or Play/Pause selected file.
STOP - Stop currently playing file or back one folder level.
RESET - Reset/Reboot microcontroller.

IMPORTANT NOTES READ
A suitable cable or modification would be required for MSX, Amstrad and
other machines that do not have a standard 3.5mm audio socket.
ZX Spectrum +2A / 3 is NOT compatible with a 3.5mm mono jack plug which
would require a 3.5mm Stereo to Mono cable.
