HUM 174 – She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not! - TMK-2 with (R)

Height – 4.5"

This hummel was first modeled by Arthur Möeller in 1945. There are some variations between older and newer models. Old Style has the boy's eyes open, while the newer versions have the eyes closed. Additionally, the Old Style has a flower on the left post, while the newer versions do not. The size of this figurine is 4.5" high, a full quarter inch taller than the 4.25" listed in the catalogs. I attached a picture of the original artwork for reference, not included in sale. See below for the specifications/variations on this hummel:

• Has Super Size "🐝" Full Bee Marking (TMK-2) with "(R)" stamped in Blue on underside of base.

• Stamped "Germany" in black on underside of base.

• Early Old Style Version with Open Eyes and Flower on left post! Later pieces have eyes closed and no flower on left post!

• Standing at 4.5" high, it exceeds the height listed in the catalogs by a quarter of an inch.

• Hummel Number "174" and Factory Control Number "69" both incised on underside of base. "M.I. Hummel" signature is incised on rear side of base.

• Hummel is in Excellent condition for it's age. No touch ups! No Repairs! No Chips! No Crazing! It may have some dust from sitting in the China Cabinet for several decades. I certainly did not want to damage it inadvertently by cleaning it.
