The Larrivee OM-03-BH is a limited edition model, ordered specially by Larrivee's UK distributor. Uniquely, the back and sides have been crafted from Bhilwara, a Rosewood of Indian origin, matched with Moon Spruce for the top. An ornate vine inlay adorns the headstock, setting it apart visually. Other specs are as per the standard OM-03, making this a tonally individual take on a stunning American-made OM-bodied acoustic guitar. Supplied in a Larrivee hard case.

Larrivee’s guitars are always an occasion to have in store; numbers are generally limited due to their Hand Built nature. This Bhilwara model is a particular rarity, with only a handful having been built specially for the UK market. Indian Bhilwara falls somewhere between Mahogany and Rosewood on the tonal spectrum. Combined with the focus and power of the Moon Spruce, the result is a powerful and uniquely rich voice.
The OM 03 BH features an ebony headplate, fretboard and bridge, with a bone nut and saddle. These components maximise the guitar’s resonance transfer from strings to body, as does the company’s signature handfit dovetail neck joint. In terms of aesthetics, the OM 03BH has stunning Maple binding to the body and fretboard. The pickguard is finished in Larrivee’s signature tortoiseshell, while the bridge shape is Larrivee’s standard.
