The Sony Ecm 999 PR has a super nice stereophonic image that you could adjust using the stereo angle pot: from mono to super wide stereo 180° degrees angle.
Sound is very clear and responsive to percussive sounds.
Coupled with a nice preamp you'll have the same response as a vintage stereo Neumann sm69 Sm2 but for less than a 1/5 of the price.
