Ellen Brown 1919-2011 - Papercutting Original - Scherenschnitte - Ellen Brown, a noted sculptor and paper cutter, was born in 1919 and died in Wiscasset, Maine, in 2011. She was introduced to paper cutting, in 1986, while living in Pennsylvania. Many of her original whimsical designs have been used by other artist.

This signature matches another piece of hers but the number 38 after her name I am unsure of. I have been told it is possibly the design number.
