RARE VINTAGE 1970s BRITISH TAN BELTING LEATHER MACBOOK CASE BRIEFCASE BAG R$1598

My bags are the antidote for the poly-lined synthetic leather run-of-the-mill bags being produced in China. Most of my bags are full-grain leather; Artisan craft, with authentic distressed character, and many with modifications unique to our line. We only use high-grade men's belts for shoulder straps. This leather is reminiscent of equestrian leather halter straps. I also use half-centimeter thick mooseskin. Nothing wimpy here; quality and character that stands out and stands the test of a truly rugged lifestyle. Invest in a bag that you'll love more and more over time. Not all leather bags are created the same. A great quality leather bag is supposed to look better with time as the leather acquires marks and age-related wear. Make sure to check out my whole store. At the time of this listing, I have 180 items all unique and different. Many with added Mooseskin handles; my "trademark" unique idea. Once you have tried it you will wonder how you functioned before without an inside handle. Also on many of my briefcases, I add a mooseskin handle wrap. Atlas leather goods were unmatched in beauty, becoming richer and more distinctive with age. Each piece met the durability requirements and demands of travel. This explains why, after a lifetime of service, Atlas owners simply refuse to part with them.

Sadly, the Atlas line is now no longer made.

What I love about this case is the following:

Rare British Tan Color (I have seen many of these cases over the years and never seen one in this lighter color; most are dark brown) I think the more natural color shows off the belting leather imperfections better; giving it a nice warm patina.
I like the unique design of two 24K Gold Plated Hardware clamp latches and a single combination lock (I can set this to the desired code at the buyer's request). Not solid brass. The 24K gold finish is in pretty good shape as you can see in the photos.
The 3-inch thickness of this case is also a bit rare. Most hard side cases are larger; 4-4.5 inches. This is great for someone looking for that minimalist look.
This handle is in very good condition. When I have found these cases in the past. The part of the case that is usually in need of repair is the handle. Over time the leather can dry out and get brittle. I have reconditioned the leather and will enclose my recommendations to make the handle last longer. For the buyer's information, you can still buy handles for this briefcase from many places online.
The bottom is stamped "Imported Irish Hand Leather" Beautiful Leather it is!
I like that the inside is Irish linen and not vinyl like many ATLAS Philadelphia, USA cases are.

Finally, I love the way the sides are constructed so you can see the thick Irish Hand Belting Leather this case is made from. And the contrast stitching is also something that I find really appealing.

I have this listed as a Men's bag but any woman who appreciates rugged leather goods could make this work for that perfect rugged look.

The measurements in inches are approximately: 17.5W x 12.5H x 3D
