This expression of Glengoyne showcases contrast and harmony. Marrying together whiskies whooly matured in Bourbon and Sherry casks in perfect balance creates a fascinating interplay between the resinous, sweetly dark orchard fruit notes imparted by sherry maturation and the brighter vanilla flavours of bourbon wood. The result is an intriguing and complex dram thats recognisably glengoyne, but looked at from a different perspective.
